La piloto Laia Sanz ha sido designada como embajadora de CUPRA. Este nombramiento tiene como objetivo reforzar el posicionamiento deportivo de la marca.
El historial de Sanz es reconocido mundialmente, entre sus logros más importantes están ser trece veces campeona mundial de Trial y cinco de enduro. También tiene en su haber la novena posición general en el Dakar 2015, competencia que ha finalizado en ocho ocasiones.
La relación que ahora inicia entre Laia y CUPRA puede calificarse como algo natural pues comparten valores comunes como la pasión por la competencia y los circuitos.
El desempeño de esta deportista ha tenido paralelamente otros alcances pues le ha abierto el camino a muchas mujeres dentro del mundo motor.
Su espíritu de competencia la lleva a trazarse nuevos retos, ahora sobre cuatro ruedas. Junto con CUPRA, Laia participará al lado de Jordi Gené, Alba Cano y Francesc Gutiérrez, un CUPRA TCR en las 24 horas de resistencia en el circuito de Barcelona-Cataluña en septiembre próximo.
Su participación tiene un significado especial pues es la primera vez que un equipo formado por dos mujeres y dos hombres compite en esta carrera.
Una vez firmado el convenio, Sainz declaró en un comunicado: “ser embajadora de una marca como CUPRA es un gran honor para mí. CUPRA tiene mucha ambición por reinventar el mundo de la competencia, y poder ser parte de un proyecto así es algo único y muy estimulante.
Por su parte, Jaime Puig, director de CUPRA Racing dijo: “estamos orgullosos de poder contar con Laia como embajadora de CUPRA, una marca que, como la piloto, ama la competencia y mantiene un espíritu deportivo constante”.
